Strong Franchisor-Franchisee relationship ensures Growth

Caring and sharing is the key Mantra

The franchisor – franchisee relationship is an important part of the franchise process.

So what qualities are important to ensure the franchisor-franchisee relationship remains strong?

"There’s no point having good communication if you can’t trust what the franchisor is telling you.  May be  franchisor doesn’t always get back to you straight away but you should trust the parent company. that’s much more important.

"It's also important that  franchisors deliver on the promise and do what they say they are going to do."

It is  important for the franchisor to be passionate about the business and the growth of the franchisee.

"Involving the franchisee in what franchisor is doing, with initiatives such as having a franchisee an advisory council will also assist the relationship. Both parties need to treat the relationship like a marriage, or family because in effect that’s what it is. And we know that every relation must have two things to maintain it for long term and that very important things are "sharing & caring". So both Franchisor and franchisee must share their experience, market scenario, competitor studies and any other business related things. Also both parties must have a feeling of caring each other in order to get more business, support, payment, Delivery of product and services etc. and If you do all these growth of company( franchisor) as wel as franchisee will be ensured.
